Today is World AIDS Day.

8,219 people die of AIDS every day! Approximately 6,000 children are orphaned by AIDS every day! That is staggering!

By 2010, there will be 15.7 million children orphaned by AIDS in sub-Saharan Africa and 20.2 million children orphaned by the disease globally.

What can we do?

Take 8mins and watch this video and pray about what God would have you, your church, and your family do (Click here for more suggestions from World Vision):

December issue of Christianity Today has a story of two American kids who have creatively raised funds to care for AIDS orphans.

It’s so important for everyone to be aware of AIDS, which is unfortunately still very much present. We can never do enough about it.
