Adoptive families can help discourage abortion by keeping their promises to birth families instead of running away as soon as their adoption is finalized. Their is no greater joy to a birth mother than seeing her child happy and secure in their new family. When this is denied it causes unbearable grief and anxiety for the birth mother regarding her choice. What benefit is there in saving one life only to have another destroyed along with her entire family?
