Part 1 – Why Consider Starting a Church Adoption Fund

One of the greatest blessings of my job is the opportunity to connect with people from all over the country.
In these conversations one thing has become clear –

God is at work stirring His church to care for orphans in radical and practical ways.

Many families are being gripped by God’s heart for adoption and stepping out in faith to expand their families and meet the needs of orphans through adoption.

Many of these families are starting orphan care and adoption ministries in their churches. And many churches are saying ‘YES’ and following God’s call to do what they can to care for orphans.

There are many things a church can do to support families and care for orphans – one very practical and very significant way is to start a church adoption fund to help families overcome the financial hurdle that so many face.

In the next few days I will look at a few of the reasons I encourage every church to consider this.
