Kris Allen – God of this City

I finally got around to watching this great video of Kris Allen, this year’s winner of American Idol, Singing “God of this City” at the church where he was a worship leader, New Life Church in Conway, Arkansas!

Praise God for the favor God has given Kris and the platform he now has to bring glory to God through his gifts.

I also wanted to post this because I think this is such a great song, capturing the great truth that God wants to do great things through His people in the cities of the world. I posted awhile back on the church, the city, and adoption. If you haven’t read it, listen to this song, then read it, and let me know your thoughts.

  2. Kris sang that song soooo wonderful!! God gave him the gift of music and oh how well he is using it to praise our God. Hope Kris will make an album of Christian music.
