I am excited about the upcoming Idea Camp Conference, Feb 25th & 26th in NW Arkansas focusing on Orphan Care and the Church. This is a unique conference that I have been looking forward too for a long time. Everything is focused on creating conversations for everyone who attends. There are no “speakers” but “guides” who will be help facilitate these conversation. Some of the topics we will be talking about are US & International care, community development, trafficking of orphans, adoption, foster care, child sponsorship, and HIV/AIDS.
Both Dan Cruver and I will be leading sessions. My workshop is on Missional Living and Adoption/Orphan Care, looking at how the global church can transform cities and nations for the sake of the orphan and the connection between the mission of God and the call to care for the fatherless. I’ll also be leading a Country Session on Uganda (see full list of workshops and sessions here)
Dan will be leading a workshop/idea session on The Theology of Adoption & Pushing Toward Trinitarian Solutions to the Global Orphan Crisis
But…what I am really excited about is hanging out with and learning from some amazing friends and people I have wanted to get to know for a long time…check out just a few of the guides below and REGISTER HERE (there is even childcare!)
Thanks for posting Jason. Praying for you and Dan Cruver as you guide some of the conversation! I wish I could make it.
