Green Acres Baptist Church did an incredible job hosting the If You Were Mine Adoption Conference this past weekend. Over 280 folks attended and many were touched by the heart of God in adoption and given practical tools to move forward in the journey. This was a part of the Hope for 100 campaign currently going on at Green Acres, the first of many such campaigns to come around the country. The vision is to see 100 children cared for by church members through adoption or foster care!

ABBA Fund will be heading to Tyler, TX this weekend as a part of the Hope for 100 campaign going on at Green Acres Baptist Church.

This Saturday we will be hosting the ‘If You Were Mine’ adoption conference. This full-day conference provides a relaxed, non-threatening environment where you can consider practical information about adoption, foster care and orphan care ministry from an objective and biblical point of view.

Find answers to questions such as:

• Is adoption or foster care for us?
• How do the adoption and foster care processes work?
• How do we choose an agency that’s right for us?
• Can I really love an adopted or foster child?
• Can we afford it?

143 Million Reasons to be in Richmond, VA this Weekend

This weekend the ABBA Fund will have a booth at the Olive Tree Alliance Orphan Care Benefit Concert & Seminar.

Aaron Ivey, Steven Bush, and band are doing the Benefit concert on Friday night (admission is a new pair of shoes for a child in need!) These guys have a passion for Jesus and to see His heart extended through His people around the world for the sake of orphans. I love how they are using their gifts!

On Saturday the Orphan Care Seminar will focus on the 143 million reasons for us as the church to step up & do something when it comes to adoption, foster care, and orphans around the world. The seminar is free!

God is at work among the churches of Richmond! If you are in the area come be a part of this event. Be sure to stop by our booth and say hi to Julie as well.
